I live in Washington DC metro area where real estate values are high, but my house and property size would be terribly expensive and out of my league if I moved it anywhere near Newport Beach. Commuting in LA area is miserable if you have to drive any distance. In any event LA life not fir me even if I could afford to replicate my house and size of my property there!
