i agree.
if he accepts the .0024 offer he is dumber than he is incompetent (as CEO).
by going "private" that means he is buying the company (and in this case with hedge fund backing). by selling to the hedge fund he is simply selling the company. his wording might be poor but we are used to this and therefore as usual we (me especially) have more questions than answers. i know, what a shock.
if SB is selling to the hedge fund he'll want to run the stock first (or in this case in tangent) to get up to the "truer" fmv.
