I fully agree.
At the extreme, with current low prices and volume, it's the perfect situation for price manipulation. Buyers are paralyzed as the price keeps falling and we could actually have a few algorithms exchanging a bunch of shares back and forth at an ever decreasing price.
When the source of shares dries up and/or we have the kind of news or visibility that triggers some volume, we could see a quick change of direction imo
