Still getting hounded on other site as to NR (they act as though they never heard this term). Hope they leave this one up as it tells the story to new eyes what has been hounding IPIX for years and continues to this day:
My post 263931 pretty well spells out that NR is non-retail.
This includes MMs, brokerages, banks, hedge funds, financial institutions, criminal shorting cabals (no different than drug cabals in that they prey on the weak), and their minions who work in crews for the criminal elements on boards to try and wrest shares from the weak.
If it ain't retail investors, it is NR.
Not saying ALL NR is criminal, but ALL criminal NAKED SHORTING is done by NR. FINRA is supposed to be their watchdog, but the data FINRA receives is supplied by NR. How convenient for these criminal elements.
Anyone who has been in bio for any time and thinks there is no NR or shorting cabals is painting a major falsehood.
Is naked shorting a major problem? At one time, Overstock had out about 4 times the number of naked short shares outstanding compared to the total that they had out legally. Hard for any firm to stand up to that kind of pressure in trying to raise money and with startup bios having such a need for upfront money for clinical trials and such a long time for drug approval by FDA (somewhere just over a decade) they are among the most prime targets for such dealings. It is what it is, not making this stuff up.
