Call for social media activity
Hey guys. First time poster. I've been invested in cydy for around 3 years now (since right before it jumped to the 1.30s in 2016). I'm long and strong, never sold a share, don't plan to, and I'm very excited at the prospects for this company. This post is a constructive criticism/call to action for the company from the perspective of a "younger investor". I'm in my 20s and I assume that alot of the posters/investors here are a bit older (I could be wrong). I wanted to post this here, as opposed to Ihub, because I don't want the bears running with this, and my intention is only good. I've read nearly every post from Ihub over the past 2-3 years and I now enjoy reading this board. Thank you for all those who have contributed with your insights and posts through that time. I'm sure there are other ghost followers like me who say nothing but have been follow the boards closely for some time.
So to my constructive criticism. As a "younger" lad I know more than older folks the power and importance of social media/networking. And its such a shame to me that this company does not appear to be active on that front. Especially because, if I recall correctly, it was in the Sept or Oct cc last year that the company stated that they were planning to be more active and engaging on social media. Yet, I look and I see that the company only has 550 followers on twitter, NO instagram that I can find, and their proactive investor videos have less than 1,000 views each on youtube. They appear to be somewhat active on Facebook.
Let me share with you my perspective and thinking on why I believe this company needs to take a more active approach to their social media. In today's day and age if you're not on social media, no one knows who you are! Why? Because everyone is on social media, so if you're not, you're invisible. So hypothetically there could be a small biotech drug company out there with a drug nowhere near as effective/pure as Leronlimab, yet more people may know of it simply because they are active on social media. What a shame knowing how absolutely incredible this drug appears to be!
Try this, go on instagram and search the hashtag #triplenegativebreastcancer. There are 25,000 posts associated with this tag. Go through the posts and you will see numerous people that either had breast cancer or that currently have it. These are the people the company needs to reach. That's the beauty of social media, you can find people with similar interests as you in a heartbeat. These are potential patients, investors, and people who if they knew of our drug can help get the word out.Try this with gvhd as well. There's 2,000 posts. People are talking about currently dealing with the disease.
Any one can contact these people and/or comment on these posts, and I think the company would be doing itself alot of good by doing so. If i had the time to (or if I was paid) I would do it myself. I run a sports instagram page that has 35,000 followers, and I've seen what social media can do and how easy it is to connect with people.
The proactive investor videos should be posted on their twitter, posted on their instagram. All the slides, all the updates, all the press releases should be posted. So if anyone from the company is reading this, this is a suggestion from a long-term investor and someone who cares about this drug and company.
Best of luck to everyone, i hope vegas happens
