The other thing to think about, and I touched upon it briefly in my post yesterday, at least in terms of Sound Concepts, is how intertwined SC is with at least Revitalize U....and that is just one customer.
McKinley and the CEO in the video yesterday told a story of how McKinley and SC helped get them going. Gave them a sweetheart deal to start out and helped craft their plan of action. If SC did it with Revitalize U, I would be willing to bet it has been done with other companies. Anyone think Revital U will ditch SC for the next best app to come along? I think not. It’s called customer retention, and SC has mastered it. Not that there is another app at the moment, but I am sure at some point there will be competition. Takes more up front time and hand holding, but you own that customer long term. Obviously the app is marketed to the associates/end users, so who is really the customer is a grey area. Very interesting business model and one I am just starting to learn about, and that video yesterday spoke volumes.
