I agree and actually had this “discussion” with one of the village idiots over at liehub. I inquired what defensin subtype B was modeled after and got lip service. I had intended to do the homework myself. I wonder if they desibned it with some commom receptor regions of several subtypes to broaden its application. Certain defensins have been implicated in the body’s defense against cancer both directly and by its chemotactic properties.
