I feel your pain too. Since February, I've come to understand that when Joe gives a timeline of a week, or ten days, his optimism is in the details. Having said that, the promise of finalizing a financial commitment in short order is the substantive point. That's appears much firmer than some of the promises communicated before.

Also, who knows, Joe may be reasoning that there is more traction to news early in the coming week than later in this one. Enjoy the suspense everyone. (And leave the ticker alone).
