OneWorld Cannabis Ltd., a company organized and existing under the laws of Israel and a wholly-owned subsidiary of OWC PharmaceuticalResearch Corp. (“OWC”) is happy to announce that, on April 15, 2019, it commenced a single-dose, randomized, crossoverstudy to compare the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics (PK) of OWC’s Medical Grade Cannabis - Orally DisintegratingTablets (MGC-ODT) vs. buccal Sativex®, in healthy adult volunteers (NCT03936907). The study is being conducted at the SouraskiMedical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel. This is a crossover study in which participants are administered with Sativex and OWC’sMGC-ODT, randomly, at least two weeks apart. Plasma is collected during a 24 hour period, at pre-determined times, and side effectsare being monitored. The participants’ concentrations of THC, CBD and 11-OH-THC will be quantified and their plasma PK analyzed.The safety, tolerability and PK profile following Sativex and MGC-ODT will be compared.
