Biobum, I tend to agree with your thought process very on point. It does feel like a deal is very imminent. I've been invested for years and have never seen the volume of the chatter louder, its insightful. Whatever the reason desperation for those on the wrong side of the fence also appears to be imminent as evidenced by recent fake emails and 24/7 nonsense postings.
