I made "my friend" aware of IPIX probably 4 years ago now. We rarely discussed investment particulars in general so I'm not sure whether a position was ever taken or not. My understanding is that the available funds to trade and the philosophy that was learned allowed investment in more established companies but looking for higher volatility to get into and out of very quickly but with large amounts involved, not so much buy and hold for more risky stocks. Still, didn't work well enough to continue.
As my friend was not at management level, partnership negotiation type information was probably above the pay grade. In any event, particulars with IPIX have never been a source of discussion.
I agree completely that such negotiations take time and that all the "we need to know" and "Leo needs to make a deal" crap is uninformed and useless. He has much more to gain from a good deal than almost anyone else. Seems one should either believe he will do what he can when he can or not be invested. The harping certainly will not change anything.
Also I'll ask-how long is a long time? And how long have they been negotiating with a particular company? It could have been a long time right now and a deal could have the ink drying as we speak.
