I agree and don’t understand either. I was just repeating what the company has stated.
I am not sure whether this has something to do with how it is annotated when they manufacture it? i.e. if they ordered $1M worth of product but stated it was for trial use vs commercial use? The only reason I can see this being required to separate the inventory is for the capitalization that I previously discussed. They will only be able to capitalize the commercial inventory once the BLA is submitted......not the inventory for trials. I am not sure how they distinguish between the two, but it may be as simple as a batch processing or specific statement when the manufacturing order is placed?
