Chance of transmitting HIV when VL is < 50 copies/ml is close to zero , but it is never zero.
And we know now that with vaccination , flu , etc , VL might go up ...
In USA , only about 45-50 % of patients with VL <50 copies/ml , much worse statistic in Africa , Central and South America.
And we see all over more drug resistant HIV , more transmission is now with drug resistant virus than not ....
