It's impossible for a multi-identity to rebuild a good reputation after soft-bashing. Having fake "arguments" with another identity (often themselves) really isn't an effective tactic to convince anybody of their credibility, except possibly the very most gullible newbie. And we don't have those here.

When the internet hands you lemons, don't make lemonade, just throw them in the garbage and ignore them.
