And just to add to this, as a moderator I can see not only who removes a message, but also the reason. Usually it's for "Off-Topic" or "Personal Attack". I rarely see where posts are removed by the CYDY moderators - it's usually the IH Admin or Mod Squad, which I understand is comprised of users. And if it's one of those two, then moderators can't restore the post. Hope this helps...
