Now the scammers have - by their own admission got the cheap shares they wanted - and been exposed and started pumping - we should see a move back up.

If nothing else their efforts helped all of us that were paying attention to add some cheaper lots - either to trade on the move up - or to substitute for others in the long-term holding but at a lower cost basis.
