Apparently what you fail to understand is that the "buyers of the offering" are not bed-wetting flippers.
They aren't staring at the pps pissing themselves. Quite the contrary, actually. They know what's coming and are extremely content with their holdings.
Only those with near term selling plans, or those who are all wrong about what they're holding, could possibly be pissing themselves right now.
