There is one metric by which we can judge the level of success of the B-OM phase 2 trial. That metric will be the size of the deal that results from it. The judge will be the partnering pharmaceutical company.
If we get a $30M upfront we will know that is what the best offer is. The trial would not be considered a HUGE success then.
If we get $100M+ upfront we will know that a BP judged it to be a huge success.
The opinions of shareholders, management, and pundits do not matter one little bit compared to those of the potential suitors. Time will tell.
