I have to and you cannot trade penny stocks with Merrill lynch. Went into affect last year . You can sell what’s in your account now and even then you have to call in and ask customer service to do it for you. No longer online. You have to do it everyday. Merrill won’t let you set a a time limit. Then they will only let you sell 1 million share blocks. It’s a drawn out process.
You can buy and sell other stocks however.
