SS asked me what is meant by NR and to prove it exists. I responded:
NR has been discussed here for years. Even a newbie knows what is meant. Quit playing coy (showing reluctance, especially when insincere or affected, to reveal one's plans or opinions, make a commitment, or take a stand). Same as asking what a short refers to, a naked short, a wash trade, or trading manipulation.
Proof? How many times have we seen a trade go off at the ask and immediately it is followed by a trade that is way below the bid? Coincidence or NR/MM collusion? Why large trades way above normal sized trades for the day and all of a sudden a large buy followed a few minutes later by a large sale at damn near always the same price? How come daily volume reported to FINRA by MMs is about triple the actual daily volume? How many times has a sale gone off at the ask and the ask volume never changes (as in nearly all day)? Should I go on?
If someone is going to refer to themselves as a pro, then they should show the knowledge of common trading terms to deserve such a title, even if they conferred the title onto themselves.
