I am also invested in quite a few of these Canadian companies and I can say right now it’s the politics in Canada, near election time, that is causing cannabis stocks to go down. The liberals are in office now, and the current Prime Minister is in a tight spot, which may put the conservatives in power, which many are thinking will slow down the progress of the industry in Canada. The safer companies are companies that have foreign investments (outside of Canada...ie America, South America, Europe etc). Canopy is definitely one of them. They have already got licenses to grow in New York and I believe bought up one or two companies in Florida. So Canadians are definitely looking to do business outside of Canada at this time!
