Actually I said it's possible that Samsung is operating at a loss for the QDs but that Nanosys could be selling at cost or small profit.
I also think that the price of QDs may have actually reached $12/gm.

Of course it could also be that they are making inexpensive QDs for $10/gm and selling them for $12/gm, and making some money.
