I think I am aware of almost all the benefits of hemp/CBD/medicinal MJ, but the one thing that really always jumps out at me is the fact that plastics made from hemp will be biodegradable. I saw just recently where a whale had floated up on a beach and had over 60 lbs of plastics in his stomach-this is unacceptable. Just look around your home and see all the plastic just in 1 household-amazing!!! This fact alone should sound the alarm to lawmakers. My wife is a recycle fanatic and we constantly carry a bin full of plastics to the recycle location. The tree-huggers will love this feature of hemp IMO.
