TOP OF THE MORN, BRIDGEWORTS
Friday morning story time, this past Saturday my father in law and brother both took THE HONOR FLIGHT to DC, .Honor flights are for our older vets WW2 and Korean War .Two of the vets were 100 years old, a total of 22 vets went.. Big production with donated money, big surprise hoopla all day and at airport apon the return.
Anyways, my sister in law among others tagged along, many had never been to DC(Den of Corruption) .
I've been to D.C. Three times chaperoning eighth graders for 5 days, but that's another story except for this part, in the march migration of school trip students the hawking vendors are selling the latest trinkets to the cash infused kiddies, in my era the big hawkster trinket was chinaman Oakley sunglasses, 3 for 10 or 15 bucks. Everywhere you looked were these Oakley sunglasses wearing adolescents, quite comical in retrospect.
Well low and behold, my sister and law exclaims to me at the airport," You wouldn't believe all the Red MAGA hats all these kids were wearing.
