The numbers at $50gm are comparable to a 5% royalty rate.
If $50 is market price for example, Nanosys QD, I believe QMC QDX are superior and might command a higher price. On a royalty basis, superior QD in a QDLED would increase the value of the display too, so the royalty might be paid on higher priced sets.
Quality of the product whether QD or a QDLED display would affect the price higher.
