I now understand why Bayer had to sell their BGM division. It was probably because of disgruntled Bayer shareholders.
Actually you don't understand. In fact not even close. Bayer was/is a high cost provider primarily as a result of their German parentage. In the past 5 years they have divested of their reagent business, their urine strip business and now their glucose test strip and meter business. They sold the glucose business to a financial arm of their contract manufacturer, Panasonic.
And Bayer would blow off message board posters like we have here like gnats.
