BudLightyr, I can see you have some doubts. However, your theory that Walgreens might buy Rite-Aid is ill conceived. The Federal government would not allow Walgreens to buy all the pharmacies Rite-Aid first put up for sale because they felt this would constitute a monopoly or something very close to it. So I suspect the same would be true for CVS. This means a new business model is needed to keep Rite-Aid in business, and the CBD market seems an ideal choice. Imagine if Rite-Aid became the first large pharmacy company to fully embrace the legal cannabis market. Do you think that might just be the ticket? I suspect it could be.
