The book titled “One Second After” is a 2009 novel by American writer William R. Forstchen. The novel deals with an unexpected electromagnetic pulse attack on the United States as it affects the people living in and around the small American town of Black Mountain, North Carolina.
It was brought to the attention of Congress by Newt Gingrich.
Unfortunately it was on the same day as the 911 report was released so it got no attention. However, it was cited on the floor of Congress as a book all Americans should read
Michael Savage had the author on his podcast about a month ago. Well worth a listen.
I read it years ago and reread it after hearing the podcast. It’s a really good story.
