Gord-oh I don't think the big boys stole any patents they are just infringing on them without repercussions. Yes, happens all the time.
However, the party may not be over for SFOR. There is the matter of Alice 101 and whether or not R&G/BR/SFT want to pursue.
That said, they may win some battles but ultimately probably loose the war.
Wouldn't you want some justice if you were SFT? You had an idea, first of it's kind, patented it (spent money and time) so that it wouldn't be stolen and infringed upon and then find out that it was all for naught as others can steal/use your idea without penalty. Not very fair, a contradiction to the whole process and another crack in American idealism.
