Spot on Doc and so much more it's a very very complicated and for sure compliant industry, too be at the highest level of compliancy is no easy task and takes much in time and resources but it's the only way - 90 % of every patient services business like an MSO, HMO, pharmacy network out there has either been investigated, fined for violations, raided and or been suspected of criminality, and fines are steep very steep, no easy task running 100% clean, there are so many ways to screw up, example, if you have a telemarketing, customer touch or a rep call a patient and the records are not updated and that patient crosses over from commercial pay to Medicare or Medicaid and you market a new service or product and you adjudicate that new product it's a massive violation and fine and if you do it knowing their a Medicaid and or Medicare patient it could be deemed criminal. Taking a company from so so compliancies to the highest of compliancies is no easy overnight task.
