If administer continuously yes, resistance come sooner , but all together , it will come when metastasis coming back , and chemotherapy need to be given on and off , it may take few months or a year longer depending how often treatment must be given , and how aggressive is this cancer .
And when cancer is back patients have no choice ,
I think that many patients will need to use Leronlimab for the rest of their life , but this is not to big problem .
Possibly some will be using on and off with control of CTC test.
Problems with present chemotherapy : toxicities and resistance.
There is no resistance to Leronlimab so far , and they don't expect this will happen.
Leronlimab is truly very unusual medicine ..
and if it will also work with cancer , many patients ( and we all could be one tomorrow ) ..should consider them self lucky that it is available...
