This will be my first, and ONLY post on this message board. If you would like to PM me, I will respond accordingly. I will not reply to public responses (either positive or negative).
I am not a paid pumper, nor am I a paid basher. I am posting as a long-term follower, supporter, and investor of the company, as well as a wholesale distributor of the hempD products. As a result, I have seen all sides of this company, their management, their customer support, and most importantly, their honesty and trustworthiness on all fronts aforementioned.
My diverse business background of 20+ years encompasses operations, finance/banking, business management, purchasing & transportation logistics management, while also performing paralegal responsibilities/operations management for a law firm.
For those who are looking at this company as a potential investment and/or the CBD industry as a whole, I for one can personally testify that from a business perspective, this is one of the most difficult/challenging/frustrating industries I have ever dealt with in regards to establishing a new business, obtaining bank accounts/financing for a CBD business account, finding a website ecommerce & hosting platform that would allow CBD products to be sold, and finding a cost effective payment processor that would process “high risk” payments through an ecommerce website, just to name a few of the ‘initial’ obstacles I personally faced when starting my ecommerce business 4 months ago. All of these CBD business ‘startup’ issues were initially to be resolved once the Farm Bill of 2018 passed. That was not the case, in fact, things seemed to get more difficult, and I also quickly realized that social media will not allow CBD to be advertised, nor would Amazon or Ebay allow CBD products to be sold on their sites when listed the products as “CBD.” In Podcast 21 I believe, Michael stated how they carefully worded the contents/labeling of the soon to be released 20mg hempD drinks, and the reasoning for that specific wording in accordance to current law.
I could go on, but I believe my point is made…… 2 months of my time spent simply setting up a business name, setting up a bank account, designing a website, finding an ecommerce solution, finding a payment solution to work with that ecommerce solution, only to be told that I cannot advertise my products using social media, nor can I sell my products on Ebay or Amazon. Makes it VERY challenging to say the least from a legal and business perspective.
I say all of this for one reason, and I’m certain I will get pushback from some of the negative posters on this board who still won’t believe Michael, or anyone else in the company on their podcasts:
I believe 100% in what Michael Welch is stating in regards to the delays and/or potential delays on current projects, including but not limited to the Cofepris/CBD Life project with the country of Mexico and it’s new presidential administration, parliament, and new permits/licenses required to move forward. The US government and FDA is a whole separate issue, that will continue to be courted by the US Hemp Roundtable, which Michael is a member.
Rocky Mountain High Brand’s management team has overcome all of these obstacles, and a WHOLE LOT MORE I’m certain, in an effort to put their company in the best possible position to take advantage of the ever changing, quickly expanding CBD marketplace!!
I simply want my personal experiences with the industry in general to be known, as I don’t see a lot of business entrepreneur experiences mentioned on this message board, or any others for that matter.
Some Questions I Often Ask Myself:
Am I frustrated as a long-time shareholder? Of course, I’m human……
Do I believe the information presented in the podcasts? Absolutely……
Can I be patient, while management continues to work through these previously outlined obstacles to move this company forward? Absolutely…….
Do your own DD on this industry, or try to start your own business, and I guarantee you will face the same frustrations that myself, and I’m certain RMHB has faced.
