I hope of course, that you're right, but five cents seems like a stretch. That's a pretty big leap. That's saying the stock will split to $1.00. Five cents is over a 500% increase from .006. That's a lofty goal.
The news of a national distribution deal of some kind will break before the split, but when new investors hear the news and check out the stock they will see a stock sitting at .006 with billions of shares out there.
The company would probably be happy to see that stock rise somewhere between one and two cents before the split. So, between 20 and 40 cents after the split. That seems more doable to me. Then it will go up from there.
The new stock structure and the new stock price will look far more inviting after the split.
We will know soon enough who is right.
