What happens to all the counterfeit shares if we get bought out and the MM can't afford to deliver? For example, if we have 175 million outstanding but longs are holding 300 million due to NSS, what happens if the manipulators can't buy them back? Are the shares insured by brokers, the govt, etc? Somebody has to get screwed if a MM can't cover his shorts. Is it us, the tax payer, the brokerage?
