Remember, trolls try to focus the board on themselves. Sometimes they set up arguments or conversations with their other identities -- the arguments to try to convince suckers that one of the identities is a "good guy," and the conversations to try to make it look like there is some kind of actual topic for concern.

The best thing to do is not to engage with them. There's a reason for the common saying "Don't feed the trolls" -- they crave the attention they are lacking in real life, and it is very annoying to them when people just ignore their blatherings.
