@sjacobs: don’t bother I’ve found it now. Write downs because of future benefits are lower than costs (future benefits will become the new costs basis) will not be reversed. It’s all clear to me now.

Sorry for any confusion folks but the current inventory can be capitalized is an asset and contributes to equity. No doubt.
