After my neighbor got the shingles I saw the excruciating pain, itching and suffering she endured for months.
There were days she could not stand to have any clothing touching her skin and she stayed in bed for over a week. As her blisters broke her husband applied ice packs.
That was around five years ago and she still has the pain return to the affected areas.
