Now, the news for today.
The House Financial Services Committee has scheduled the first congressional marijuana vote of 2019. The panel is set to consider legislation to let cannabis businesses access banks on Tuesday.
The U.S. Postal Service quietly issued a memo this month detailing how people can legally mail hemp-derived CBD cannabis products. This is right folks, the USPS did this on their own, and companies can now mail hemp-derived CBD cannabis products legally.
Also, and this is a big one, a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agency filed three separate Federal Register notices seeking public input on studies examining medical marijuana as a potential opioid alternative.
