I just had a bout with the Shingles and it kicked my @ss. Had a VA appointment and they offered the shingles vaccine and I got the flu vaccine because I was traveling. Told them I would get it Shingles vaccine when I got back. That was a mistake. 2 months and I still have itching and nerve pain. Was told that could last 12 months or even the rest of my life. Already have nerve damage from other stuff. I did have some control over the other stuff before the shingles. Some day's now, it takes longer for me to get that under control and feel steady on my feet because the shingles attacked my Nervous System. My daughter work in a large preschool and it's a revolving door of sickness. Lot more people today are not getting their kids vaccinated. Between 1st and 2nd grade I missed probably 6 months of schools with Measles, German Measles, Chicken pocks, Mumps and host of other stuff. Then they came out with the vaccines and vaccinated everyone in school regardless if they had had any of the illnesses. I am not sure parents had a choice back in the 60's on vaccination.

Open boarder's most of these people haven't been vaccinated. Pandemic waiting to happen. Call me crazy. But I just don't get out in the public anymore like I once did.
