The question of when to sell seems like a personal decisions that is as unique as the individual shareholder. I would argue though the reason we are all invested in this stock is universal.
All you have to do is keep asking yourself the question why?
Why?
Because I want to be successful.
Why?
I want to have a lot of money.
Why?
I don’t want to have to work.
Why?
I want more free time.
Why?
Keep asking yourself WHY and eventually you will come to the final answer…
I want to be HAPPY
Picture the life you want to live and what makes you happy. Then when the time comes you will know when to sell or hold.
It also reminds me of a joke:
They say money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy a jet ski, and have you ever seen a sad mother F*@#$&! On a JET SKI!?
