It would be interesting to see what happens today. I saw your theory on ihub. If it wasn’t short covering it was unlikely a retail investor. If there is no active offering then it could be some firm building a position. I agree with the general consensus that large firms will stay off otc, but small firms or hedgies are more more nimble. I asked a family friend who has a small hedge fund of around 300mm and he would absolutely trade on otc if need be.
