I've always thought that maybe some of them get paid by the amount of replies they get.  I can't see any other reason to bash.

If you find out they do have to appear in court, keep us informed.  That might be something to see in person.  Arvitar with his libelous "scam" statements seems particularly bent of being named a defendant.
