yes SCOTUS will hear it. Ropes and Gray didn't petition because they felt it wouldn't happen.
In 2016 they were 4-0 with scotus wins, they know how to navigate that little bit of real estate pretty good, and are known in that neck of the woods by most judges!
There are a lot of reason to feel they would win there.
But maybe they won't have to make an appearance and win.
Lots of legal stuff flying around Alice these days. We will see.
