I don't know much about MSO, but the stories of corruption brought up by the Dallas News article shows there is a great opportunity for Generex to tap into the lucrative MSO business. There are corruptions at all levels of society (government, schools, businesses, etc..). Some are legal (lobbyism), some are not so legal.
Corruption is especially rampant in the Drug business, hence the high cost of healthcare in the US. Doc can attest to the anecdotes of drug companies paying lavish lunches for doctors and clinics to encourage them to prescribe their brand drugs to patients. And that's just one small instance.
Lots of landmines in the MSO business, but if Generex can execute its plan, it can be a blockbuster business and a great opportunity for us.
There will be hiccups as it takes time to clean up the holdover mess.
I'm relieved to see Generex taking so much time in auditing the line of pharmacies it wants to acquire.
Given what we went through with the old Generex, it is imperative that Joe hires the best people. So far, Joe has been able to hire some high caliber people. For these people to agree to join Generex, they must see something.
There are seasoned investors on this board who has some serious money tied up in Generex for years. We have seen our investment literally going down to pennies. But given what I see what Joe is doing, I feel our investment will eventually pay off. It might require adding new shares for some of us, but I feel strongly it will pay off.
Here is a post by RJS and me about the impressive team that Joe has put together.
