Steve either has some really huge news that he will release SOON or Steve has mismanaged (or, undermanaged) the many business disciplines needed to be addressed in a publicly traded company or Steve has been trying to BS his way through some tough times in the hope that he/we would be OK in the end or Steve has been lying as many have suggested.

I do not believe that Steve has purposely lied to us. That is far too dumb and risky - especially for a successful man. Most likely is that things were more difficult and took far longer than he anticipated.
