The company is focused on getting an institutional investor on board. Ironically two days before the Horizon $5 mil investment was announced, I had an hour long conversation with Yossi. My question to him was whether or not they might contemplate raising money as they did before with smaller individual investors. His answer was no because in his opinion that would be too big of a hassle and too much work.
I see no reason why they couldn't raise sufficient money this way again. I would have no hesitation participating as part of an investor group consisting of mostly existing shareholders. However, this time I would want the agreement structured similar to the one they did with Horizon, minus some of the toxicity!
Big institutional investors are great, but not when you have to chase them! Get your house in order first and they will start taking notice. And let's not think for a moment that a new investor is not going to want a lot of conditions and strings attached to any proposed agreement. That's just the way it is.
