They both are IMO because any settlement lowers the value of the Lifescan property. Now IMO penny stock traders would not really understand this, because the statement I am about to make has nothing to do with DECN stock price, but if I were Platinum I would, at this point, feel duped by J&J and will very shortly have to take a writedown of at least 25% on my purchase of Lifescan. Now, ask yourself, and ask that genius Johnny_C too, he of the know it everything crowd, how, if I were Platinum, I could cushion such a writedown.
