Re: BudLightyr #5690
Hello BudLightyr, I applaud you for posting the various Bills sitting in Congress and awaiting a vote. However, the Bill I am aware of that could impact Univec is the Banking Bill which is not scheduled for a vote until April. The FDA has put off a decision on CBD until 2020 sometime --- God help us if we are waiting for that. The V.A. is said to be making a decision within days that certainly could impact our patch and other products. Are you aware of anything else? I guess one could argue that everything could impact Univec, but can you think of anything specific?
Just a note for those following some of the new proposals in Congress is the move to classify cannabis as a substance similar to alcohol. If this move should become a Bill and eventually voted on, it would mean cannabis products could ONLY be sold through a pharmacy. This type of Bill would effectively destroy much of the legal cannabis industry that has already been established. However, it just might really strengthen Univec with its 70,000 pharmacies.
