One wonders what the WORLDWIDE IMPACT ON INNOVATION might be if it continues to be stifled under Alice 101:
Thomas Edison: Inventor of DC current (current/electricity limited to short distances)
Nikola Tesla: Inventor of AC current (used worldwide for long distance current/electricity)
Edison lawyer to Federal Circuit (or SCOTUS):
“AC current isn’t inventive, it’s just DC current running in two different directions.”
Federal Circuit:
“We’re no experts on technology, but that sounds logical/great to us. Let’s deny the Tesla patent (or vote rule 36) and go to lunch.”
