Another reason for me to add again recently was exactly this. The low low float and the longs locking it. In my very limited knowledge of all of this and how it works, I just see a forward split as so helpful and necessary. No one is selling and will sell for a bit IMO. Just no liquidity here and some free shares out there sure would make this even more attractive and stable to large funds as some may let a few go then at a lower price. My play is load up and my bet is we see some free shares our way sooner than later. Just keeps getting better and better here.
